This ANZAC sleepover was possibly one of the largest if not the largest sleepovers at the Magill Scout Hall we ever had!

In addition to the Magill Joeys, Cubs and Scouts we also hosted a considerable contingent of Stradbroke Joeys, Cubs and Scouts and some more from Beaumont Scout Group.

Well over 80 youth members were tightly packed not only in the main hall, but also in the den downstairs, on the stage area and in the meeting room.

With significant rain during the night we feared a bit for the weather during the ANZAC service. However, during the service the weather was completely dry and the the new memorial at the Gums reserve was a stunning setting.

The Magill RSL expressed their thanks for the large turnout of Scouts and Guides at the service.
