Section 2 of the YURREBILLA TRAIL – plus about 1.5 km.
(total about 8.75km)
Meeting point Corner of Coach and Ridge Rds Greenhill.
Up Greenhill Rd – 250m Past Mt Lofty Summit Rd, Turn Left.
900m up Ridge Rd – For a 10:00am Start (BE THERE BEFORE).
There are no toilets at the start or finish.
6Km to Cleland Wildlife Park where there are toilets and we will stop for our PRE-packed lunch and a toilet break.
from there it is about 2.5Km to the Eagle on the Hill park exit,(100m) past the restaraunt.
Eagle on the hill turn off is 2.7Km up freeway toward the tunnels. Restaraunt is about 3Km up the road.
Parking for pick-up is either side of the road and also 200m further up the road (Also 100m Futher DOWN THE ROAD ON THE OTHER SIDE).
Walked at the Weekend – 3/12/2011 with my 8 Year old – Three hours even without a lunch break

Music Proficiency Badge Camp

A small scale, highly practical, catered residential camp for Scouts who have some musical proficiency. It is aimed at Scouts who have reached grade 2 or equivalent standard in an instrument or voice.

AJ2013 Shakedown Camp

at Woodhouse Activity Centre (Get Directions)

Shakedown Camp is a practice camp for Jamboree Troops. It is an opportunity for your Jamboree Troop to gear up and sort themselves out for the Jamboree. It gives you opportunities to meet fellow Troop members (Some who you may not have met before), meet your Leaders, sort out your Patrols and lots more!

The cost of this weekend is the cost of food as determined by your Troop (just like a normal Scout camp). All other costs are covered by the Contingent and the fees you pay for the Jamboree.

This is the SA state Joey camp which occurs only every two years.

The theme this year is “Fantasy” with a range of activities for Joeys to participate in.

All Joeys attending must be accompanied by a parent or carer and this is included in the camp fee. Parents will be required to assist in supervision of Joeys during activities, meal preparations and camp establishment and pack up.

Joeys will sleep in two person type tents with their parent or carer.
