Scouts Beach Event Evening

at Glenelg Beach (Get Directions)

On Monday 6 February, the scouts will be holding a ’ beach event’ involving water activities such as swimming, boogey boarding, kite flying and other fantastic activities.

We will also have fish and chips on the beach for dinner.

Starting at 5.30pm at the magill hall, we will travel to Glenelg, and return to the magill hall at 9pm.

Wear solid walking shoes and bring a drink bottle.

Movies in the Park presents Easy A

This is another Cambelltown Youth event for about Scout age and older with the movie ‘easy A’.

Food stalls, live music, free air-brush tattoo’s & more. Bring a blanket and friends!

Dress up in your best high school uniform outfit. The most impressive outfit will win a prize.

We will be cleaning up around the Creek and Sub Station.
Council will be picking up our rubbish from the Hall the next day.

Pirates of the Murray

Cub Scout Branch Hike

Youth from all over the metropolitan area will converge on the city after completing various activities along the way. Country Cubs are encouraged to do something similar in and around their region.

Location: Adelaide and country areas

Possibly for Magill this will involve a bike ride (about13km) to the city and return from Paradise

ANZAC Sleep Over and Dawn Service

at Magill Scout Hall (Get Directions)

Supper and Sleep Over at Magill, followed by Dawn Service at the Gums and Breakfast at the Magill RSL.
$5 donation (partly to cover supper) but mostly as a donation to the RSL. In the past we have almost run out of room. In 2010 we had people sleeping in the conference room as well as down stairs. 80 odd people seems to be the optimal. AND others from other Groups are already expressing interest in joining us at Magill.
Please bring ONE ONLY packet of bickies or lollies TO SHARE

Come and try a huge – Room Full of Bounces.
Wear Loose Comfortable Clothing – without Buttons or Zips (They MAY get caught on something)NO JEWELLERY same reason, and Clean socks.
Bring a Drink Bottle and be sure to eat dinner quite a bit before the event.
